From Pataaka, bend the index finger halfway down.
The first finger of the Pataka hand is curved
or the thumb and forefinger of the Pataka hand are curved.

Its colour is red,

its race mixed,

its patron deity Vasudeva


It was first used by Agastya in drinking (dposanam krite) the seven seas.
